MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is To connect children around the communit to end poverty and child abuse. Working together, we invest in the lives of children, build the healthy environments they need to thrive, and empower them to create lasting change in their lives and communities. we inspire breath throughs in the way the society treat children and achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

The community children Centre was started in 2019 by Vision or Children Zambia to respond to the suffering and poverty of these communities by focusing on education healthy provisions and trainings to vulnerable.

Vision for Children Zambia is a non-profit and faith based organization which is aimed at alleviating poverty and child abuse in the lives of Children in the City of Choma and other parts of the country. The lack of education and poverty in our communities leads children into premature marriage, prostitution, or crime as the only option for survival. Vision for Children Zambia address the problems of illiteracy and poverty and transform it into hope through education.

Vision for Children Zambia is devoted in protecting children from harm such as Covid19, Sexual abuse, any form of violence, neglect and mentalillness resulting from drug and alcohol abuse.
Vision for Children Zambia is also working with District child protection committee under the Ministry of Youth and Child Development.
We take time to listen to and understand our clients ‘ concerns and customize a solution that directly responds to their individual needs.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Our main objective is to identify children victims of abuse or at risk of abuse and seek for support services, alternative care and foster care, adoption, family tracing and family reunification, prevention of sibling/family separation for children without appropriate family based care, children in conflict with the law have access to appropriate child justice.
